Did Hubbs really say Auburn coaches told Lambert Tennessee wouldn't be going to a bowl game for a few years b/c of the Mo Coach situation?

Crap like that is easy to counter and I am sure we did. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is now eligible to play but we are getting a bowl ban? The NCAA would have to do the same with Bama over DJ Fluker and we all know that is not happening. I wouldn't even bat an eyelid at this at all if Lambert wasn't such a lying sack of monkey crap. We will be fine, however. Among, D- linemen I would much rather lose him than a 4 year player like Hendrix or Barnett.

You guys get too emotionally wrapped up in recruiting. I want all the good players like everyone else. Kid chose a different school bottom line. He didn't commit a crime or kill anybody. Now grown ADULTS are calling him a punk. Leave it be and let's move on.

Effects out immediate but not our future. We lose a mature juco body but have some extremely talented freshman coming in. Barnett IMO is a freshman version of lambert. It just would have been nice to have a mature body that can take the every down grind.

One other thing this ain't your Dooley Vols where Dooley goes off crying feeling sorry for himself and using this as another excuse. This stuff right here is what make Butch Jones work even harder. It burns at a man like Butch Jones to lose. Butch is going to come back even harder next time Auburn is in mix for same players.

He never said the Auburn coaches told Lambert that, he said Lambert had been hearing that from people & had to deal with it.

That is my fault for reading his post wrong. Sorry.

From the same guy that brought us 'Taking up for Davante Bourque' comes another segment where breakerboy aka radio uses his high school football experience to tell us how we should feel.

Last time I'll post in here. I know we all wished for the opposite result, but this kid has a life. He had to make decisions that were best for his family. He had to make a tough choice and I respect him for that. We don't know that he actually lied to the coaches because that was all hearsay. I hope the guy has a great career and hits whoever is behind the red teams line 10 times a game. I won't cheer for him but I won't curse him either. We need to grow up a little and realize these are huge decisions for these young men. Again no ill will towards him, but we need guys who want to be vols he did not so good luck to him elsewhere.

We don't know per se what he told the coaches but we do know what he told VQ....You are really giving him the benefit of the doubt to suggest that he wasn't lying to the staff...I hold no ill will toward him other than to say that perhaps having "a real job" one day with the expectation/requirement of honesty might not be such a bad thing for him...Lying seems to come very easy to this guy and that is not good in the real world where there is accountability.
