It's currently a tie for my favorite Volnation posters between MZTERRY and VFL34!

Thanks MZTERRY for posting. With your son in the program, it has to be frustrating reading some of the crap posted by the arses who attempt to put down the players and coaches. You stay above all the negative mess and share some first hand insight into the program. I salute you!

Per Callahan

I spoke with Weatherd a couple days ago, and he remains optimistic that he'll be good to go within the next few weeks — easily in time for the start of the second session of summer classes — but we'll just have to wait and see what happens. He still has some work to do, but there's definitely a chance he'll be able to enroll at some point this summer without any problems.

First he said he'd make it by Jan, then it was first term, now second. Sounds like he needs to stop talking and take care of business.

He is being asking questions for an explicit answer. I am sure the 15 minute conversation is causing the academic concerns.

Not disagreeing that he doesn't know with 100% certainty, but an answer of, "I don't know" is worse than being optimistic.

Even if he makes it as late as possible, he will be backing up Maggitt meaning he can afford the 3 or 4 game learning curve. (assuming curt can stay on the field).

If I wasn't 100 sure, I would give a "no comment" or "I'm not prepared to discuss that" answer. Maybe that's just me though, I do work in a "never say anything that can used against you profession."

There's the difference. He's a teenager at a JUCO trying to maintain a positive attitude. We forget these kids are not in their mid-20s.
