Two things, one, I thought JD had been told that the staff wanted to watch him at SS until mid October to see how he did, and two, isn't Jerome going to be on campus at a camp in July? Thought I'd read something about that.

Not sure about July, he was supposed to be on campus today. I think today's trip was just to support some of his prep teammates.

Odd deal. He always acts like there is no problem and he will be here but all sites are not confident. It almost as if he is blind to what needs to be done to get into school or he just doesn't believe it for some reason. I worry about someone like that's accountability.

It's tough on these kids. Once they have committed and the fans expect the kid in Orange, I would bet it's hard to let go of that if you are the recruit. They may know it's not going to happen, but will hold onto it as long as they can.

I am in no way saying Weatherd won't make it in. He seems confident he will. I have just learned over time to never take it to the bank when a kid who did not make it in when expected, will make it at all.

Hopefully he makes it in. We need this kids talent on the field.

Situation kinda feels like Eddrick Loften a little bit. Every week it was "on my way to Knoxville" or "can't believe I'll be in Knoxville in a few days."

Hope Weatherd makes it in but the fact that he was once planning on being an EE and now hopes to make it in by August definitely has me worried he won't make it at all.

The show will go on regardless. I never doubt Butch & his staffs back up plans for our team. Set back and keep your popcorn ready

Not holding my breath here. Missing spring and most of summer really changes his chances of seeing the field any way. His pic makes him look thin, hope Im wrong here.
