Pay the man. A lot.

Thig, Gillespie, Strip, and Martinez are my favorite assistants on this staff. Also been pleased with Jancek's defense so far this year. I think we need to cut Bajakian some slack. His offense can be very successful with proper QB play. If Worley can play like he did in the second half of the UGA game, we'll be set.

Thig may be the most important brick Butch has landed thus far. I can't believe they pulled this kid.

I wonder what happened recently to change opinions, he was favored to go to auburn for a while

He always said that playing time was most important factor and he must realize that he can start day one at LT for UT and maybe not at Auburn or A&M.

It might not be the "Best staff in the nation" but it's a damn solid staff and the best one UT's had in years.

Hell yes! They all do their part, and the players and recruits seem to love them all so I'm happy with our staff.

It's not just that either. They work as a team and cohesive unit. They are familiar and comfortable with each other. But most importantly, they seem to trust one another. That's big IMO.

Thig needs to be at UT till that man retires. Give the man some money cause Thig is gonna Thig
Him and Martinez, both, need to be PAID! You have two former SEC DC's on the staff, and I bet Janzek treats Martinez like a Co-DC, of sorts....bouncing ideas off of him and getting his input, from time to time. In fact, Martinez is in the booth while Janzek is on the sideline, so you already know he's assisting him in that capacity.

Plus, we won't have to worry about the secondary coaching as long as Martinez is here. Thig is a keeper, too. Going to have to make salary a non-factor for these guys, in case anyone else comes calling.

Yep. If you think about it...if he DOES indeed commit, we already have our OL for next year.

LT - Blair
LG - M.Jackson
C - Crowder
RG - Weisman
RT - Orlando Brown (maybe Kerbyson, but I don't see it)

Kerbyson early, maybe. Brown may be pushing by the end of the year though.

Supposedly kerbyson has been doing very well. Seems like brown is still very raw

Kerbyson will start.

Blair has a 9 run blocking grade and a 6 pass blocking on 247. I'm not gonna pretend to evaluate an OL, but that sounds more like a RT to me.

Hypothetically speaking, say Tiny comes back? Do we flip Blair to RT for his junior season and flip him to LT his senior year?

Outlook gets better if Richardson stays. Blair likely plays RT and Kerbyson/Brown back the 2 of them up.

Brown might be game-ready as a RS FR at RT and Blair shifts to LT in 2014.

This is, obviously, what I would imagine which means nothing.
