Hey VN! Long time reader, first time poster. Born and grew up a little in Tennessee but moved to Texas where I attended junior high and high school.
I played for Arlington Martin, one of Arlington Sam Houston's (Kameel's school) rivals. We graduated the same year so I got to play against him.
Kameel is one of those slippery receivers who as soon as you take your eye off him he's open. His production was not overwhelming but he camped a bunch and did make plays for his school, just was not dominant. In his defense, his team was not very good despite having 3 other BCS conference commits.
Unfortunately for Kameel, he seemed to get in trouble quite often both when he was in high school and at OU. I hope he makes it to Knoxville, but to be honest I would be surprised if everything went as planned. Hoping his grades are in line and he stays out of trouble.
It's great to be here on VN!

Haha, no I wish. I'd be a tad undersized especially considering I weigh 200 lbs now and have fully committed my focus to baseball since that season ended. Wish I could be at Rocky Top, but out of state tuition is just too much, but I'm playing small college baseball and happy here.Welcome to VN! Are you any good? We'll be a bit thin on the OL next year.

Yes, but our district was relatively tough. Included schools like Arlington High (Luke Joeckel's school) and Arlington Bowie who churns out D1 talent every year. My school, Arlington Martin, went undefeated in district my senior year but we were stacked as well. We had 6 D1 signees my class and the junior class (2012) had 8 if you count FCS.Good information hard to believe a HS team with Kameel Jackson at WR and Jamal Turner at QB could suck so bad. Of course Kameel was suspended part of his senior season which seems to be a very persistent pattern with him.
Swain said the receivers are still struggling to get route combinations down. CZA is shocked by how little the WRs know. Swain also said that Marquez North will be an immediate impact guy at UT.
