'14 KY DT Matt Elam

I have a son in med school at UNC. Maybe one day we can talk some football over a bacon sandwich at Merritt's.

The best BLT's in the state. I go for breakfast when I drop my little ones off at school sometimes. The Mediterranean Deli is another favorite on Franklin Street. Just let me know because in ACC country it is all about BBall, but I can understand.:toast:

I think the only way the coaches take Elam is if they miss on Mosley. I would take both plus Barnett and another Juco DT, but I doubt they take that many.

IMO you need Malone in there and then the last spot is Elam if you can get him and a JUCO DT like McDowell or Ward if not.

Has set up officials to UK vs UL and also ND vs USC.

I just do not see Blair coming to UT. I think he is interested but the Auburn offer put us on the back burner. So we would have a slot for Elam.

Doubt both would be on the field at the same time even if we had both. Usually you want at least one of your DTs to be on the smaller side(280-300). Most teams do not put dual 340lb+ DTs on the field at the same time. Haynesworth was 320ish and Henderson was 290-295 most of his career.

I think a move to OG for Mosley could be possible no matter how the DT recruiting ends up. It's a good thing IMO because we could use depth at either spot.

Doesn't seem fierce/nasty enough for DT from what I've seen. I think he'd be an excellent OG in my amateur opinion.

It's kind of weird thinking of Henderson as a smaller DT.
