Mr Dews, thanks for being on the forum. It's really cool for a fan to get an inside peek at our program that we wouldn't normally get.

Can you tell us how an in home visit from Coach Jones goes? What did he focus on with his recruitment of Jerome?

I can't wait to see Jerome in Orange and White! Welcome to the fam!

I can see your viewpoint. JD has been speculated to be a gs from the instant his name popped up. Guys just dont believe because of some kind of star rating system. This aint Dooley and Butch doesnt need "fillers" to fill out this class. If he believes then who the hell am I to question it. Hoping JD explodes when its his time.

Sorry that was not aimed at you lol. At other posters on here. Yeah I may have went on about it too when I shouldn't have. Like I said I can't wait to have Jerome in orange and I think he's a great ball player

With that said...as a dad of a future D1 player you need to know we are a very passionate fan base. There will be occasional comments that will ruffle your feathers. Fans will critique players performances. It's what we do. However, it's that passion that allows for 85-90k fans at every home game despite 4 straight losing seasons. We will cheer your son like crazy when he runs though the T. Sometimes a line will be crossed but that is the same for every fan base of a high level BCS school. Sadly it comes with the territory. Try not to judge the entire fan base too harshly over a careless comment on social media or a message board.

MD - Last I checked this thread you said it was likely Jerome was going to prep school then enrolling in TN in Jan 2015.

Is that still the plan or is he now looking like he will get on campus this summer?

I am hoping it is the latter, ready to get his speed on the field!

All depends on who stays committed, or who may not qualify, numbers game i would say, but either way he's fine with the decision

I'm curious. You said he loves Tennessee. I know I grew up listening to the Vols on the radio and have followed them all my life. What made Jerome love the Vols. Thanks. :)

I think he has to answer that question, Coach Thigpen is a big reason, he and Deandre Payne have been friends since Pop Warner, but for he most part i think he would have to tell you to be honest with you.
