Academic integrity isn't something to make light of on twitter, especially after what happened to Gohlston from ND.

I thought he was saying he didn't like dumb people, you know, like if you don't know how to do basic algebra you can't be in the math club.

I tried to spin it that way at first too but it's pretty obvious what he's talking about.

I hate being all hung up on twitter and if my son ever had the ability to play D1, no twitter for him. However this tweet is a red flag

Some of you would die if you knew what teens were up too. And 17-18 year olds in college? Lawd have mercy call the morality police because they're gonna do something 'immoral' eventually -- every last one of them.

As to the 'integrity' post, some of y'all need to understand teenage humor.

This is no big deal! Once he's signed and official he will get the same social media etiquette instructions as all the other players. There is a reason you don't see the players, who are also young kids, tweeting certain things that you see other kids their age tweeting. They do rep more than themselves once official and it won't be an issue.

Everyone is misinterpreting the tweet anyway. He's saying if you don't know the answers on a test, don't expect me to be friends with you and give you answers

Not speaking specifically about Dews or this "situation" but let's be honest guys of his status with the team need to be walking the straight and narrow. Ex. Tom Smith

And this is part of why women in our society are treated like crap by men who don't value them. It starts when they are young and can be an addiction that does not make for a healthy marriage. My opinion. When you get into the growing sex slavery that is booming as well, it just shows you where society is. Sex is beautiful and good. Porn is not about making love but is just animalistic in nature and sometimes leads to worse things. Try screwing your wife and stop playing with yourself while watching other people do something with someone you have no chance of being with.

Look I get what you're saying but I've actually had to fail students for cheating on tests as well as for plagiarism. It SUCKS bad, especially now that kids have lotto schollies and you know it could put them in deep doodoo if they're already on probation. At least, with sports you know the student won't have to hit the road the way lotto schollie kids sometimes have to due to money issues. However, what I've experienced is that the ones who cheat don't usually talk about cheating let alone joke about it for all to hear/see.

At university, plagiarism is the thing that gets students into trouble more than cheating on tests. I've always distinguished between those who don't know how to cite sources properly and those who just cut and paste but policies vary and GTAs, lecturers, profs etc. have a very free hand when it comes to punishment of plagiarism (everything from failing a paper to failing the course and more are options).

Joking about it may be bad form once he's on the roster but it's not something we should be concerned about right now. And in the grand scheme of things is a pretty minor 'twitter offense.'
