'14 MD LB Jerome Dews (UT Commit 6/24)

I will say this, in my opinion as a parent, i truly believe there is nothing shady going on, we are 100% Tenn, there was a chance he would grayshirt that was told to us in the very beginning, whether he grayshirts or not depends on the numbers in my opinion, if so we are fine with that, if not, everyone knows he will redshirt, he has alot of growing to do, but for now we will wait and see how next weekend goes.

I appreciate the way you have handled yourself on here. It can't be easy as a parent to look at all of the speculation and such in these threads and keep a level head. If the staff pulls the rug i doubt they will be able to recruit the MD area again, but i don't beleive nothing shady is going on, we were told there wasnt enough recruits for this weekend and some coaches will be on the road, if thats not true then like the man said it is what it is!

Hubbs and crew is clearly in the dark on who the staff plans to GS/BS, which is probably good that our staff isn't sharing that with anyone at this point except the players and families of those that could possibly be in that situation.

Because nothing is set until they know what is going to go down on signing day and it would be bad to let VQ put concrete names out there.

That is an absurd notion. Everything he is hearing comes from the coaching staff side of things. He doesn't throw around stuff like that lightly and he doesn't stir up drama for the sake of his business.

I agree he doesn't usually throw these kind of things around if they are accurate

it seems like the case. most of the remaining recruits are visiting on the 24th. the coaches probably want him there to help sell the program.

also, the coaches are supposed to be on the road this weekend like you were told. they have very important in home visits to take care of. IIRC Coach Jones and some other coaches are visiting Adoree Jackson in Illinois this weekend. That could be an all day event. i think what you were told is the truth

It's plenty reasonable to Think that hubbs hasn't been given the grey shirt news that MDObserver has given us here.

If that's true then both hubbs and MDobserver both could be accurate in their post

I'm guessing Hubbs is one of your inside guys, if he talked to Coach Thigpen himself and was told something different from what i was told, then i guess we have problems, but if not i think i would roll with Coach Thig on this one. Were are not worried about this one bit.

i don't doubt his professionalism,.i hear he gives great insight, i was just saying if he talked to Thigpen personally and was told something different from what we were told. That's all i was saying.
