Not sure what you want more from a HC coming into a place like UF after Meyer went 6-6 the yr before. This past season sucked Im not asking for his head bc of injuries and holes in roster left bc of bad takes or lack of development. This year was a cluster fk but jmo he can turn it around.

UF has also gotten involved w/ Jeff Jones, a RB out of Minnesota who was one of the MVP's of the UA game. He's currently committed to Minnesota, but set up a OV to UF a couple of days ago. I'm not sure whether there is a preference for Jones over Scott or vice versa.

When Cook was on board I think UF was ok with settling for just 1 RB. I'm not sure whether that is the case anymore. I think UF may be looking for 2 RB's.......probably the first 2 that jump on board (b/c we're definitely in scramble mode). UF might also push for Tony James an Oregon commit, who is from Gainesville.

Why wouldn't he schedule am OV to florida???


He's uncommitted and should be taking visits.

Jones is visiting the 24th and is already predicted to flip to UF on the crystal ball predictions... Which I know doesn't mean much

You could be right but I don't like it.

If florida had control of those dates then that means scott is their top priority if they indeed are only taking 1 of them

We should pursue Jones regardless of our status with Scott. First one willing to jump on gets the spot (same situation when we were chasing Williams).

Very much disagree if we feel good about scott.

We have made him feel that he is a priority. If we start giving him the "take the first that commits" pressure all that is lost.

Those kind of tactics are used a lot of times in a desperation move

I'm not saying put that pressure on. I'm just saying recruit them both and hope you get one. I don't prefer the "put all your eggs in one basket" strategy SC is using with Scott.
