It's a very delicate game but perusing jones with a commitable offer would nearly certainly effect our standing with scott.

Hubbs has said that its pretty much scott or no one and I would be willing to bet that the staff has told the kid that.

Changing that now would be huge risk if we like our position with scott

Jones is probably not realistic anyhow. If we find an elite rb we had a good chance with, I wouldn't be opposed to recruiting him.

Yesterday I didn't believe Florida was a factor for Scott. The visit changes things. They have 0 rb commits, it's very possible they could pick up Scott.

Not worried about florida at all except that is prolongs his decision.

If we stay patient we win this thing IMO

In all seriousness, I take it you are confident that we will get Scott. Guess one way we can look at this UF visit is that is one more team that we can beat on the recruiting trail for another elite player.

I actually disagree. I'd take both Scott and Jones. Paulk is greyshirting if I'm correct, so maybe we could find him a dance partner (back ) and call it quits I'm '15

Paulk has stated he isn't grey shirting.

Even if he does from my view point in the numbers taking 2 more RBs would mean somebody else besides Paulk would have to go.

That won't happen IMO

Didn't think he was greyshirting. There is talk he could play next season.

Interview on Rivals...

-Said the UF offer doesn't mean much, he said it changes things a little.

-Looks to visit them on the 17th or 24th.

-Wants to make a decision before NSD.

-Had a cast on his right hand. He won't be playing in the bowl.

JMO, UF would have to absolutely blow him away on his OV to be able to land him. I don't think there in it as much as some people think. UF most likely lands Jeff Jones soon anyways.

Maybe I overreacted a bit to the Florida visit. Hopefully we pull Scott near NSD whenever he announces.

Florida is a school he's wanted to hear from and has always been interested in.

His coach has been telling me for months if Florida offered they would be a real player

JMO, I would be happy if we got this kid, but it also wouldn't slay me if we didn't. I think a lot of people are sleeping on Paulk, who I like a lot. Furthermore, with an all-new OL and a host of talent coming in at WR and TE, added to the hopefully continued QB development, I think our offense goes to the air a lot more this year. Just a hunch. In that scenario, I could see Pig and Vic lining up at TB or APB to supplement our less than ideal RB depth.

I have mixed emotions on scott.

IMO if we get him Paulk will then be asked to grey shirt. I am not a huge fan of that

I wasn't a big fan at first, but this will end out working out better for UT and Paulk. He will have time to fully heal, be in a big time college work out program, and really be ready to produce without risking further injury. I want Paulk at full force and fully healed. He is a very bright future with the Vols! That said, Scott is a must get!
