Paul on VQ report

We've said for a few weeks now some close to Scott are giving Tennessee the edge but there is still a lot up in the air.

We will see what he has to say coming out of his Florida visits and then there's still his in-home visits as well. He wants to make a decision before signing day but there is still some time left.

Griddie emphasized as well that he grew up a big Gator fan.

I hope that Florida visit doesn't go well.

Guess it's a matter of preference. I grew up in FL so I'm used to it more, but I love Gainesville and the UF campus. Just grew up a UT fan and couldn't bring myself to even apply to UF. Allegiances aside, and even after attending UT for 4 years, I'd take UF's campus and Gainesville over Ktown. Can't beat the aethsics of moss draped live oaks IMO.

It's nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Parents lived there for years. It's just too flat there for me. That is one of the reasons why I can't bring myself to move back to West Tennessee. East Tennessee is just too beautiful to leave for me.

I don't understand this post - at all. Gainesville is a hell hole located in the middle of nowhere.

Guess it's whatever floats a persons boat. I've been to four UT games at Gainesville and didn't like anything about the area. I don't like the flat landscape and can't stand all the sand. I was there for football games and their fans and most everyone in the local businesses were the rudest people I've ever met. The first time we went to a game down there we were treated so bad we left a restaurant without eating, then checked out of our motel and drove all the way back to Valdosta and stayed there. We stayed in Valdosta the next 3 times we went down. I love the mountains of east Tennessee and would rather live here. JMO
