This appears to be the guy the staff is going to target after losing out on Lyle.

Finding some backcourt help in this class remains a priority and on that end it looks like Tadric Jackson from Tifton, Ga. is someone that the Vols are going to try to make a run at. He's holding a firm offer. A combo guard, Jackson is a strong player, physically developed in his upper body and the kind of tough nosed kid that this staff seems to hold in high regard.

Jackson is a top 100 player who would be a very good consolation prize for missing on Lyle Tadric Jackson - Yahoo! Sports

Cuanzo is doing a great job recruiting the state of GA. Both Jackson and also the Turman kid would be great additions.

Meant to add that...Martin seems to be figuring out what pearl did, GA is much easier to get kids from than Memphis.

Between Georgia and the rising talent in TN you can almost fill your roster with players from those 2 states

The kid has an impressive offer list. Hope we're in good consideration with him. You'd think as badly as UT needs a point guard that a high level 4 or 5 star player would see UT as a place he could come into with immediate and significant playing time.

Do we have any clue where we might stand with him at this point in time??

Georgia Tech and Alabama are thought to be high up his list, but he's still relatively open it seems. Looking to make some visits in August, will have to watch to see if we get one.
