2. Thoughts on Kelly
The first thing that stands out about Kelly is you simply can’t teach or practice to have the natural hands and ball skills he possesses. Some of the most impressive in the 2014 class nationally. He is a football player, period, with elite playmaking ability. He’s very smooth tracking the ball and in his change of direction with impressive hip flexibility and COD ability. As tackler, he’s very instinctive in his angles, and ability to put his hat on the ball. While there are bigger safeties, Kelly is an impressive striker because of his instincts and fluidity in space.
Note: Kelly is definitely a prospect that we can see rising in the Top247 in the coming months.
