These are some updates from Fortenberry during the game...

Quick update here at BA...

Barnett had one tackle here in the first quarter, probably should have had another but couldn't bring down Ferby.

McGraw has been very impressive on defense. Has two tackles and a nice PBU.

The Sheffield kid committed to Vanderbilt had one of the best hits I've seen in high school.

A lot of young talent on the field. Brentwood has two offensive tackles that are sophomores and look good physically.

Also, Ensworth has a freshman LB that looks good.

Halftime at Brentwood...

Brentwood leads Ensworth 14-10 here at halftime. Barnett has been in on several tackles and has looked quick and physical.

McGraw has been really impressive as well.

For Ensworth a name to watch in the future will be freshman Jacoby Stevens. He is probably around 6-3 and has about 4 tackles on defense.

Barnett finished with seven tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a rushing touchdown in Brentwood Academy's big win over Ensworth, 36-10. They have a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

I meant to write this back when you posted that.

Really works the bullrush to rip move well. When you’re slanting like that it makes a nice counter. I could see him playing as a Freshman as a 5-tech on passing downs. Refined pass-rush like this is really nice to see.

I was sitting at work projecting what i thought would be the front 4 for UT's D- Line next year and i honestly overlooked him as a possible starter and put Jason Carr over him. i think after watching that video that may have been a mistake... Wow several of those plays i felf bad for the kids parents having to it there and watch him beat up on the opposition like a read headed stepchild
