Hopefully the kid sticks to his word. I recall him saying many times he was going through the process and would not commit till he was sure. Just focus on UT and your future teammates Derek. It's coming.

Nobody wanted to discount the scout report but he clearly had another interesting line in that interview.

Definitely did not like the quotes. He is one of the under valued kids in this class. He is gonna be a beast on the line.

Well the reality is we are currently over the limit. Most likely one or two recurits we don't want to leave will. I hope he sticks with his commitment but it looks and sounds like he may have something else in mind. Bummer

Derek is a quiet, unassuming kid. Seemed to be retweeting a lot of vol stuff after his commitment but that has tapered it seems since the vandy game. Hope he's not having second thoughts, but these recent quotes are a bit worrisome IMO.

Figures our DL commitments would cause us the most grief. Par for the course. I hope CBJ can hold onto these guys. Barely missing on kids like Jernigan, Wright, Lawson, Autry, and Jacobs in the past has killed our defense.

We are not asking a 4 star D-lineman to walk. If anyone leaves it will be because they chose to, not for any other reason.

Idk about that but it has been said that Barnett, Gaulden, and Malone are good friends.

Me too. I would say Barnett, Hendrix, Lambert, and Owen Williams being he is the only true DT would be safe. Henderson would be safe IMO just because he is a smaller faster end that could play a niche on obvious passing downs. The others would be fair game IMO if a cut was needed to be made.
