That's awesome. He sounds like his skills are transcendent. That's the kind of athlete we need. Not a slow meathead workout warrior.

Not at all! He was the best pure athlete on a team full of good athletes. He was Derek Jeter in a Big Papi body.

But, Hendrix isn't the only lineman committed to Tennessee the Tigers are after. Missouri has targeted Derek Barnett as well and there's been some communication there the last several days. Barnett is scheduled to be in Knoxville this weekend for his official visit so we will see if he shuts it down after this weekend or continues to listen to the Tigers.

just seems really late for an in state guy like derek to flip. of course you never know with kids these days but i think we hang on rather easy

I hope so. Silly season ain't for the faint of heart, but some of the stories this year are crazy.

this is crazy...this kid is a player. not sure why three of our best players at biggest pos of need are looking around suddenly.

Mizzou's peasant self is starting to tick me off. Is their 15 minutes over yet? They're about half a step in stature above Kentucky. They can go on somewhere.

We should reach out to a couple of Mizzou commits and make them start working to keep theirs instead of coming after ours.I wish it could be a DT but they don't even have one committed.

I would be shocked if Mizzu flipped either Hendrix or Barnett. Hendrix and family are lifelong vol fans. Barnett has so many close friends in this class that I think it would be hard to pull him away from chance to play with guys like Gaulden, Malone, Robertson, Hurd, Vic and Mosely
