I think we want a pure QB to go with a dual threat one and we are scrambling to find one with these offers going out now. When I say scrambling, I mean good prospects but ones we had not offered before and trying to get into it with them with Gentry being a surprise not choosing the Vols.

IF the staff is sold on taking another scholarship QB in 2015, I'd like to see them go after Jack Beneventi. He is committed to iowa, but I think the staff could flip him if they really pushed. The hawkeyes do have 2 QBs committed. With it being as early as it was, I doubt the UT staff was pushing very hard for a commitment when the kid visited a while back.

It should be obvious the staff wants another QB by the fact of them still offering QBs and pushing hard on Gibson. It should also be obvious that they want an elite QB.

I would expect offers to be going out all throughout the recruiting year. Even if the position is full, they will still extend offers as nothing is final till NSD. If Jennings were de-commit tomorrow, the staff has to have options. I think we are seeing a lot of slow play option offers going out as well. No way a take today, but closer to NSD it may be a situation where the staff has to take 1 or 2.
