Before the start of this season, I was somewhat defending Peterman, thinking he just needed time to adjust to the speed of the game. But after his brief stints in games, when given the chance to throw, he botched it every time.

I think he's just too nervous, and should have shed that problem by now. Can't see the staff interested in keeping him onboard, so one way to facilitate him transferring would be to flood the position group with new talent.

I also think they are liking the running element Dobbs gives them and they know they will need to have quality talent right behind him, as letting the QB run as much as Dobbs has, exposes them to greater risk of injury.

Just look at last year and tell me they haven't learned a hard lesson about that. Worley got a thumb injury, then Peterman. Ferguson had a leg injury. We were basically down to one QB, with Dobbs, at one point....that's with having 4 on the roster.

So, there is no reason at all for either Dormady or Jennings to get frustrated at a 3rd QB propsect.

All part of today's entitlement culture. I've heard rumors that Hendrix cleared out his locker because that bastard Butch Jones had the "Opportunity is Nowhere" sign repainted from blue to white, requiring the team to make their own determination whether Dooley was being sarcastic or not. Also heard it made Scott so mad that he broke his hand punching a wall.

I liked this guy early on and was disappointed when he committed to Florida. I don't know if he's actually "better" at this point then either Jennings or Dormady, but I like the idea of throwing another talented guy into the mix. Not everybody we sign is going to pan out. Quarterback is a really important position that can swing an entire season in a different direction.

If we get 3 really talented QB's, the cream will rise to the top and we will most likely find ourselves with a really great player at that position in a couple years. A really great QB with the defense we're putting together puts us as a national title contender.

So yeah. Take.

I agree 100%---what if Dormandy and Jennings are busts? I think the overly crazed fan obsesses over these players too much when truth be told they have as much
loyalty as the coaches. Cecil Cherry leaves? So what? We replace him with Kirkland Jr

If there is room - and there is or Butch would not have done an in-home - I am all in favor of this one. Love his passing mechanics and mobility. Pass first guy that spins it well. He improved nicely from last season.
