I have a feeling Martez will end up at UF. He's a Gator fan, which is natural down here near Orlando (behind enemy lines). He is, however, open in his recruiting, so somebody else could end up signing him.

Does not look or sound good for Zack Darlington. Hope the kid is alright. Said he never opened his eyes or moved at all. Given O2 through a mask. Makes it sound like he was not breathing on his own.

Anyone notice the old guy on the sideline walking around taking notes with a UT hat on?

White hair and beard, santa clausish. He was wearing it proud.

Yeah he has shown up on camera 2-3 times during the game with the UT hat on. Prayers for the Apopka QB. Now moving on his own. Good news.

Said at the end he was moving, but spinal trauma can be tricky. O2 mask in trauma cases is pretty much routine. Since he was out cold, that is why they had him immobilized in a spinal package. In those cases, a good paramedic will take every precaution, Lebanon. I worked in EMS for 20 years, so I can tell you that everything you saw that freaks out most folks is simple routine precautions to avoid further trauma in cases like that.

I fully understand it's all procedure when a spine/neck injury is a possibility. All reports since the game ended seem to indicate the kid will be ok.

Ivey is 6-foot-6, 275-pounds. He’s one of the best framed and “long” kids I have ever seen. I mean his arms literally go almost to his knees. Even at his size now Ivey looks like he could easily carry an additional 40-50-pounds. He moves incredibly well. You should see him pull and block on the run. He’s just light on his feet and very athletic (see highlights below).
