It wasn't Dormady over Gibson anyway. It was Dormady was ready to commit and they took him while still recruiting Gibson at qb.

LV has said multiple times that he does not think CBJ leads recruits on. It would mean CBJ is dishonest and recruits would recognize that. Now he says that CBJ leads on a lot of recruits. He is such a joke.

You're right, it wasn't QD over Gibson, it was just QD wanted to commit first. If Gibson wanted to commit then, CBJ would have accepted his commitment in a second.

Do I think CBJ tells recruits what they want to hear at times? Probably. Do I think CBJ takes commitments from kids he fully intends to sign, even if the fans think they are not rated high enough? I do. It's one thing to tell a kid he will get a chance to start and or play early at UT. It's another thing to straight up lie to a recruit. IMO CBJ toes the line pretty close but keeps things on the up and up.

Also my "leading on" comment was directed more toward uncommitted kids. UT leading and about to get commitments from a lot of kids this year tells me the coaches are doing a great job of selling a spot that the recruit can't actually have. Or can't have right now anyways. The coaches will recruit kids they won't take. We have seen that a lot this year. Could they be recruiting TG and have no intention of taking him if JJ and QD stick and Van is a Vol? No doubt in my mind.

There is a reason schools are backing off from recruiting him. Especially for a talented athlete that he is. Wish he could get his crap together and come help us win a NC.

He's got from now to NSD to prove to the coaches that he can be. I don't know what proof is needed, but there is an issue or issues. It could be something as simple as grades and they know he won't be available. Or, something else. We can only speculate.
