Absolutely wrong. I have consistently stated that whatever Butch decides, I am behind him 100%. My thing is until TG either commits somewhere else or after NSD it comes out that CBJ passed on him, nobody knows anything.

Tux wants people to believe he went through the recruiting process like 30 or 40 years ago. He also wants people to think that recruiting has not changed much since then. Neither one really knows much about recruiting. They want everyone to believe they do though :)

His insistence that he is a QB and not and Athlete. We have two QBs committed. AU is pushing for a second QB not named TG. You know, those obvious signs that you think are mere formalities. Basically you are calling everyone but TG a liar. I would be interested to know why you put so much stock in what TG says. To you and others, his word is infallible and unadulterated truth.

Gibson has real info. The others have said all they have heard are rumors. I will listen to a recruit over rumors anyday.

I DO KNOW about recruiting, whether it is 2014 or in 20 B.C.

People are people and the recruiting message is still the same. Lying is lying no matter who lies and when it takes place....and it does not fly.

It doesn't register with some people that every recruit coming through here talks about Butch being a straight shooter. But apparently he is lying to BOTH of our QB recruits... People are crazy.

The main reason I do not consider the Gibson recruitment closed is because I do not truly consider the Dormady recruitment closed. If Dormady has as big a senior season as many analysts and pundits expect, the Texas schools will descend upon him with renewed vigor. If memory serves me correctly, Dormady will be an early enrollee, so we really only have to hold them off until December. However, our retention of Texas recruits historically has not been good.

Most (if not all) of the Texas schools have their desired QB on board already...

Texas already has their elite QB commit (Gentry) and A&M has Murray, so I doubt they will be recruiting Dormady hard.

Impossible that a recruit who very much wants to be "the man at QB" would twist his recruitment situation in the media so that it does not hurt his reputation.

"UT, OSU, and AU all still want me and are pushing hard for my commitment". " I think I will visit UCF, AZ, and maybe Appy St to look at those options".

Uh, yeah. Ok.

Dormady has shut down his recruitment. He's not taking any other visits. He's an EE. He has already made the trip back to Knoxville multiple times since committing with his family. Want to shake up QD's commitment? Take a 3rd QB and see what happens. CBJ made the right decision with the (2) QBs he took commitments from. QB for 2015 at UT is done IMO.

Kendall for 2016 and Johnson in 2017 and we are set.
