Did he in fact use Tory correctly in the sentence or not? Was it being used in the sense of saying you are against the cause, or that you are being loyal?

I believe Butchna was referencing your attempt to silence his freedom of speech ("don't state ...") and he was calling you loyal to English tyranny for doing so...

Yes, it was reported that he played QB at the IMG 7v7. I'll see if I can find the source. As far as in-depth details, I haven't seen anything. Maybe I'll come across something while I'm looking for the source.

We saw a photo of him playing qb at one of the recent camps, but I haven't seen any reports of how well he played.

I don't think we absolutely have to have Gibson in this class, but why in the hell would anyone not absolutely want him in this class? "Stupid is as stupid does!" smdh :no:

I'll try and explain it for you. Butch picked his Quarterbacks for this class. He is better qualified than you or I or anyone else to know who is best for our beloved Vols. If he decides to add TG I'll accept his judgement and support it. Apparently he has at this point determined he is not a good fit for the team; whether it is character issues, grades, not a fit with what he wants to do at the position or another reason only Butch and the staff know. Since he has made his choices it would sure be a blessing if all those who can't accept the fact he didn't choose TG would quit being such asses to those who are happy with our QB's. If in 3-4 years TG wins the Heisman and Dormady and Jennings transfer to some mud hole school then the TG tribe can rub it it. On the other hand....no the rest of us have more class than that.

Yeah, I did some looking around as I was curious how he did. I could not really find anything. Most of what I saw was from 2013 and he was not playing QB in those. I did see where the best QB at the 2014 event was actually a 2016 or 2017 kid. May have been the Allison kid.

Well we were doing vocal impressions of people on VN that don't want Gibson here. It went like something like this:

Me: KM, this is what one VN poster keeps saying about top 20 player Gibson. Well he isn't a take for us. He is not a QB and we don't need him. I also said to him I go, hey KM there is no room for a top 20 player on the Vols because we are so good that we can turn away ultra talented players.

KM: Come on dawg for real? *He cracked up laughing at my impression of the VN members*. You can't be serious man. Are there really people on that message board who don't want a stud player like Gibson? I gotta say if thats true they is some stupid people on that board.

So yeah he was laughing at us impersonating those who don't want Gibson. It was awesome
