'15 GA OLB Quarte Sapp (UT Signee 2/4/15)

The last class he def did not. One of the best I have seen top to bottom in all my time following. It's truly got amazing potential when a Vic Wharton is your lowest ranked kid

Actually if you look at Rivals, (13) 2014 recruits "ranked" lower than Vic.

Kind of funny looking at it now. (1) of the recruits ranked next to last at a 5.6 was Jakob Johnson. Think about that a second. CBJ is doing just fine. :p

Yep...I think the 2014 class is more significant than just being a highly ranked class. It was like Butch was intent on taking 2 classes in one. Will pay big dividends this year, not just down the road.

Sapp and Smith at OLB would give our linebacking corps physical players with elite speed. Our linebackers would more closely resemble what LSU has put on the field in recent years. That is what we need.

Reminds me of Raynoch Thompson

Scary with the DL we're putting together as well.

You think Cortez or Elliott will get moved to Will eventually? And also, you think Creamer will show out at LB or do you think he gets moved

I like Cortez at Safety personally. I love his game there. He's incredibly physical and he can really move. He has safety range for sure IMO.

I guess both he and Elliot could end up at Will but I really like McDowell in the secondary.

I have no idea what to expect from Creamer. I could see him bouncing around at a few positions before finding a home.

I hadn't even considered seeing Cortez moved to LB. Butch does seem to like those converted safetys there. I'm with you though, I think he will stay put and be excellent in the secondary.

I still feel like Creamer could be pretty effective as a TE. Who knows though.

I love McDowell. I think he's the best safety prospect they signed in last year's class and along with Coleman Thomas is probably the most underrated recruit in last year's class (if you can consider a 4* underrated).

The big question with Creamer for me is how physical he can play? He certainly has the size and body, but is he physical enough to be an effective TE? At LB you have to have the natural instincts to play at this level and I have no idea if he has that or not.

I also really liked Creamer at TE. He is just such a mismatch. Can't have too many Helm/Oliver TE's IMO

I agree with the TE thinking. Moving a WR to TE makes much more sense to me than WR to LB. Just have to see how it plays out. Hopefully it does not cost Creamer much time IF it does not work out.
