Thats an idiot thing to say. Kirklands first choice was Michigan then it wasn't. Jashon Robertsons first choice was Vanderbilt then it wasn't. Kamara's first choice was Alabama then it wasn't. Stuff happens and minds change. Thats how life works.

I don't give a DAMN if a top recruit is his 10 choice as long as we can get him here on NSD, that's when it counts, we are dealing with 17 and 18 year olds, cross your :crossfingers: and hope for the best when it gets close to NSD.:scare:

Having 3 talented, experienced CB's in the rotation along with Gaulden holding down the nickel to go with Evan working into safety with TKJr. is just mind blowing to me. All of them are real football players with excellent speed and instincts. Can't recall a group with more potential at UT.

"Tennessee has really been there for me from the beginning and I just feel like that's the right place," he said. "My family always wanted me to go to Tennesee because they can get to the games easy. My mom always wanted me to go to Tennessee."

Martin has official visits scheduled for January and as things stand now, he still plans to follow through on those trips but he claims his pledge to the Vols is solid.

"It's pretty much it," he said of his commitment. "I'll still listen to LSU and Auburn and all the schools i take my officials to but this is pretty much it."

He's not an EE in the sense that he's not enrolling this upcoming spring semester. But he's almost a super EE when you think about it from the standpoint that he's enrolling in time for his true sophomore season.

Normally an EE would be a JUCO who just finished his sophomore season at his JUCO and then is able to enroll that upcoming spring in time for spring practice. Now imagine a JUCO enrolling a semester before that, in time to play his true sophomore season for the D1 school he chooses. That's what Martin's situation is.
