'15 JUCO CB Justin Martin (UT Signee 2/4/15)

LOL, just saw this on 1st page:

"Keep an eye on this kid. Justin Martin out of Nashville Overton. Enrolled JuCo early and Tennessee helped place him. He's a 6-2 CB that has 46 second speed in the 400. Is a good candidate to be an eventual JuCo addition for the 2015 class." - Barton Simmons

Barton gets it.

Finally the 400 is recognized for it's true evaluation value!!

That is 2 hours from home. I don't see A&M being much of a threat. LSU was said to be a favorite school growing up.

I don't know how good his relatioship is with Chavis, but I am a bit concerned here. This is a huge position of need and it would be a major blow to lose him.

Worst case scenario would be losing Martin and not obtaining Allen or St. Louis. CB and LT are our two biggest needs. Martin took care of the CB need. Losing him this late would be detrimental.

Do not be concerned. If he wanted to follow Chavis, he wouldn't have committed out of the blue to us. Or back to us? Silently back to us, from his public decommitment, i should say.

The way I have read his recruitment is that LSU gave him something to think about because it was a favorite growing up and he liked Chavis. UT was up and coming, has immediate playing time, and is close. Chavis leaving sealed the deal, and he isn't just going to follow him anywhere. Now, I don't know for sure, but that appears to be how it went. I really don't see A&M as a threat.

I don't think they're a threat, however I'm always concerned until the LOI is sent in.

I hope we hang on to this kid. He is a great one and from TN. It is so wonderful that the State of TN is producing so much talent. I never thought I would see that.

Technically the kid is originally from the Atlanta area I believe but we'll claim him. :)

For the love of God I hope we keep this guy!
He is a special player and would be a huge contribution. Adding a shut down corner to this offensive line helps both squads.
CB covers receivers=qb holds the ball= big uglies feast
DL rushes hard=Qb throws fast and distracted=CB pick six
Would be an incredibly complimentary pairing.
Can the recruits sign the LOI early?
Recruiting gives me ulcers!
Me and volition are hungry!

Ummmmm
