With the recent comments made by Herbstreit this week about us needing to find a QB and RB, I am wondering if anyone knows when Kamara is scheduled to announce? I just like our chances with GA already having 2-3 proven stud backs and we have senior Lane and a bunch of unproven RBs.
While I would love to see us get Kamara, he as well as several of the new guys would be very much unproven. If it is between just UT and UGA for his signature, I would imagine he could announce at any time. Not sure why he would drag it out if he knows where he is headed.
Agree I don't think it will drag out but if it does i think that favors Tn. The only reasons would be to avoid in state pressure if he chooses TN or waiting to see how our team looks this year to trust in decision. It would not shock me if he is one of the guys Matthews is referring to as silent.

I think you know something here. You are speaking VolquesteneseI have wondered the same thing about Matthews' comment. Tomorrow is my little girl's 4th birthday...would be awesome for a big name to go public on her birthday! Of course, awesome for me...she could care less at this point, but she's learning. She knows how to sing "It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!"
Kamara has been very quiet with his recruitment, but it certainly appears to be a 2 team battle...UT and UGA. The Vols certainly seem intriguing, considering he will have a great opportunity for early playing time, can be used in multiple roles in their offense, and as we all know, he has some close friends in Knoxville. This one could go either way, but I like Tennessee's position at this point in time.
