I really think this is Reid's spot since he told the coaching staff that he is still committed but was going to take visits to see what else might be out there.
"It's a dream come true," Bussey said following his announcement Friday night. "I've always wanted to play for the University of Tennessee. It makes me kind of emotional to think about it. But, once coach Pelini was fired fired I just wasn't comfortable with the new coaching staff and this opportunity opened up and it's all just worked out. It's great to be able to go to my dream school."
Besides his relationship with the Tennessee coaches, Bussey sees an opportunity for early playing time in Knoxville given he running back situation on campus as Jalen Hurd is the only returning scholarship running back heading into the spring semester. Besides Jalen, who played a lot this year as a freshman and started, and Alvin Kamara who actually signed from juco, besides those two it's kind of wide open," Bussey explained. "That's definitely a positive for coming in and trying to earn playing time early."
They've told me how they can use that part of my game in their offense," Bussey said. "I have to credit my coach because we would spend some practices catching balls for the first hour. So I've become pretty fluent in catching them and it's translated on to the field. I catch a lot in games and coach Gillespie has talked about how he can fit that in their offense and allow me to get the ball in space"
I'm pretty sure they met right before the stream with the family and wrote that up. I doubt VQ knew more than an hour before he announced.
Although I agree with most of this, I am sure there were articles written for both outcomes prior to his announcement.
Yeah, but your not sure. I doubt if the family waited that long to tip their hand they would have tipped it moments before Kendall's announcement. Papa Bussey would have told Fortenberry or whoever represented VQ to wait like everyone else.

They had 4 different articles. The mods knew. It was obvious this morning
I agree. I think the 51% comment that a couple of posters want to hang their hat on was a troll job for those who kept asking the same questions. I'm just surprised that anyone would bash free information being provided about their supposed favorite team.
