Ive been talking to (Vols offensive line) coach (Don) Mahoney a little bit, Jenkins said, adding that he has heard from Mahoney about every week since he received a scholarship offer from Tennessee more than six months ago. Really, its just more, like, a building relationship type thing, and hes telling me more about Tennessee and stuff.
I know they have a pretty sound O-line, and I know that Coach Mahoney, hes from around Pittsburgh, so hes familiar with the area, Jenkins said. Him just being real honest and trying to build a relationship with me is pretty cool. Relationships are important to me."
He seems like a teacher not a guy that will yell at you and stuff on the field, but, like, a teacher, someone who will help you progress and learn and will just really honor my decision, even if I choose not to go there.
Thats probably what Ill do just wait til signing day (next year), Jenkins said. Not til signing day, but just somewhere close to that, because I dont think Im ready to make a decision at all yet.

Because he's from PA, Callahan asked him about his instate school, Penn St. Jenkins more or less said he would have to take a "wait and see" approach with them.
