'15 TN OT Drew Richmond (Former Ole Miss commit)

Ole Miss not only burned the bridge; they nuked it into another galaxy. When OM fans publicly spew the kind of vitriol they did last night and CHF unfollows you on Twitter like a jilted adolescent, the relationship is over. Finito. Done. DR's a Vol, and he'll be a great one!

Even in memphis today fans are bashing the rebels right now. I don't think there has ever been this level of meltdown before. On SEC Ran, EVERY fanbase was telling them they are overreacting and the gay jokes, rape jokes, racial jokes about Richmond, Butch and Kalil were too much. I've never seen that before. They had to delete all the threads thread and warn the Rebs. They may have just helped us a lot more than we knew. Add that to all the memphis recruits currently at ole miss complaining about not playing (upper class lineman and RB's) and we find ourselves having a good set up in memphis now. GalIilee on VQ mentioned some of this earlier about the memphis recruits being upset. Time to take advantage.

Honestly, this 2015 recruiting class is a dud as a whole.

The staff purposely let Richmond and Leo walk because we're opening up spots for our epic 2016 class.

All is well.

I think I stopped somewhere around the first sodomy-laden, lesbian lover post.

Old man rant:

One of THE WORST things about the millennial generation is their anonymity and cowardice. 99% of the sh** they post, tweet, text, et al they would dare say to anyone's face.

Buncha sniveling kids...GET OFF MY LAWN!

get-off-my-lawn.gif

As someone born in 1990 ( some studies say I'm the last Gen X others say I'm the first Millenials) When I hear this argument I always laugh. Blaming the youth for being young and broadly making generalizations seems to only be something the older generations do. I and many of my friends are nothing like you just described, however I know many people who are like that, but it has nothing to do with our age. It has everything to do with how we were raised.

If there is any blame to be had in a generation, and really there never should be, then it should be placed firmly on the shoulders that raised them and set their examples growing up. It's just immature and closed minded to make sweeping broad comments about any people, especially one whose oldest people aren't even 30 yet, which means we can't actually do anything significant politically or socially.

Now if we're still jackasses when we're old, that's when we can look for problems.

Yea Blair couldn't get on the field when we literally had one of the worst lines in the country. I would not be surprised if Richmond jumps him.

or maybe Blair was getting the Dobbs treatment. CBJ was saving him for the next 2 years. Remember Dobbs was not supposed to see the field last year. I'm gonna hold out faith that Blair will live up to his 4 star JUCO billing and be a good starter for us next season.

Yeah, the Rant was legendary last night. I quoted from that Drew Richmond Meltdown Thread before they deleted the whole thread. OM fans were insane! Total backlash.

The ole "I'm not like that so the stereotype is wrong" argument.

Dude must be a Vandy transfer. LMAO!

Freeze turned us in to the ncaa for putting Richmond on tv

We didn't put DR on TV. He was walking to his seat in a public arena while TV cameras were filming a game. The ESPN crew doesn't work for us, they don't take direction from our staff and we don't control what they choose to air.
