Emanuel Hall - Hudl

Has early offers from Vandy, USF, Ole Miss, Miss St. Tennessee showing interest. Both parents graduated from UT and has been to campus multiple times

I have seen him play a couple of times. He is the playmaker for Centennial. James Franklin was on the sidelines of the Ravenwood game watching him and a few others. The Vandy offer doesn't surprise me. The kid has skills, but needs a big senior year.

I coach the guy in track and field. He was an unbelievable high jumper. He won state his freshman year.

Missouri seems to have a nack for developing under-recognized WRs into very good football players. L'Damian Washington from Shreveport comes to mind. He was a Rivals 2 Star coming out of HS I believe.

Vandy board claiming the offer was not committable. They feel they are in good shape with some other "better" WRs. :birgits_giggle:

That entire thread claims that Tennessee can't recruit nationally but Vandy is and has more to sell on the national level.

They also claim they don't need to rely on instate kids because they're in on better ones elsewhere. UT only recruits regionally-"Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina." We only have a guy from CA because he was a legacy. I didn't know recruiting the best regional talent in America was such a bad thing.

I wonder if it's embarrassing.
Being that stupid.

It helped that he was 6'3-6'4 also. Kid was pretty decent coming out of high school but was very underrated.

They were recruiting QB Quenten Dormady who is from Texas so they must know that he is a Tennessee commitment. That isn't just stupid, it's dishonest.

Yes but Brother is Track & Field only. He didn't even play football in high school
Won State in the decathlon. Working on the next Olympics. Didn't play football because he did not want to. Pretty smart kid, I don't know his brother personally but I guess that he had the grades for a Vandy Athlete

They're pretty much trapped in the same delusional state of recruiting that we were under Kiffin.

UT under Kiffin="USC East"

Vandy under Mason="Stanford East"

Obviously because Mason is from the west coast, Cali kids will be kicking down the door to play at an academic school in the SEC. \sarcasm

Visited the West Coast for the first time this past summer...alls I can say is...if I'm FROM THERE, it would take a special school to drag me away...I don't think Vandy qualifies.
