Think Dormady's is much stronger. Dobbs didn't appear very strong last yr and one of Dormady's biggest assets is supposed to be his arm. The film on him was just from his soph yr and it looked pretty strong 2 yrs ago. But guess we won't really know till we get updated highlights from games this season.

Dobbs' arm looked great in his senior film against elite Georgia HS teams (and in this year's O-W game). I think his head was what slowed him down last year. Obviously he's a smart kid, but college ball is a whole different animal.

All I needed to know was that Gruden watched him and worked with him and said he "would be just fine". Then he got to work with Peyton.

Soooo, I don't know what else to question about his abilities. He's 17 years old.

Yea I think Dobbs has a good arm, sometimes the ball just comes out funky out of his hand. His arm action looks like he's throwing a baseball sometimes. Idk it could have been the hand injury. Once he gets consistant touch on the ball you'll see his accuracy and deep ball improve.

Ya his throws looked wonky, for lack of a better word. Hopefully that was just the hand injury or leftover baseball habits.

Think you fellas are onto something here. Apparently this is his first summer ever not playing baseball/focusing solely on football, and I could easily see that having something to do with it. I played baseball for a long time and my football throwing motion is still funky. The whole windup and throw thing in baseball is brutal in football.

Arm strength of #GoVols QB pledge Quinten Dormady easily apparent out here. Throwing tight spirals and the ball is jumping out of his hand.
