From Alabama Rivals -
Lyndell Wilson, 2016 linebacker from Carver High School in Montgomery, Ala., traveled to Knoxville with several friends on Wednesday. The friends were Brandon Kennedy, four-star center from Wetumpka High School in Ala., and Marlon Davidson, 2016 defensive end from Greenville High School. All three have scholarship offers from the Volunteers.
"The visit to Tennessee was great," Wilson said. "I had a blast with Coach Thigpen. We sat down and talked about the defensive scheme at Tennessee. They treated me really good. It was my first time going up there.
"I liked the facilities. I like the indoor facility. I like the weight program. I saw the guys lift weights and do their conditioning work-out.
"I liked their stadium and how you walked through the tunnel to the field. Overall, it was a really good visit. I enjoyed spending time with Coach Thigpen. Tennessee is a good place to be."
Wilson is one of a few select juniors who will participate in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in Baltimore next weekend. He has tentative plans to visit Clemson on Friday. He plans to attend Alabama's OL/DL camp June 15 with Davidson and Kennedy.
Wilson's offer list continues to increase and well into double-digits. He does not list any favorites at this time. However, he mentioned one school recruiting him the hardest.
"Auburn is probably coming after me the hardest right now," he said. "My coach tells me that Coach Cheese (Charlie Harbison) is always at the school asking about me. Jeremy (Johnson) is also contacting me a lot."
