man, I mean we are mean to other fan bases on here but the Canes take it to another level. They deserve to watch Byrd flip.

I don't know about this rotating your best CB out. Maybe they'll be groomed to replace the starters next year. If Justin Martin has a good year he's gone along with Sutton and Foreman. To tell the truth I see Osborne and Byrd getting late game action and involved heavily on ST units. We've got experienced talent and don't need these guys to make an impact honestly.

What, you mean highly rated freshmen won't automatically beat out established SEC veterans? I can't see it.

Unless Malik Foreman is a senior next year, he isn't going anywhere. He is a very, very poor tackler in college much less the NFL.

Maybe you need an "eye test"? So you can evaluate with the "eye test". :shades:

He came on at the end of the year.

Always rooted for Foreman because he was committed to Vandy for awhile and then we offered and he flipped immediately.

East TN kid.

I wonder if we let Byrd be a two way player year 1. Heck of an athlete that John Brice said last night that he had multiple sources tell him Byrd was so good he could be a star on either side of the ball. He will def be a special teams guy but I could see us trying to get him the ball some on offense with that speed in some kind of package.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but the fact that Evan Berry doesn't have a package kind of makes me doubt it.

Kinda wouldn't mind him at slot next year

Or corner, with a few looks on O

True statement. I'm a legit 6'4 in college I was listed as a 6'6 small forward. Not to mention Jarnell Stokes at was listed at 6'9 really about 6'6. Same Maymon listed 6'6 probably 6'4.

I hear ya. In college I was a proven C- student at the University of Feenix (off-brand online school) with a major in coloring.

But since I answered a survey in a brochure I found at the airport, I finished a podiatry residency at UGA's school of Medicine.

My point is these stats can be inflated. And don't get sick in Georgia

I think you put him at corner where his highest potential is but I don't see why you can't give him some looks on O to utilize his speed. He prob doesn't start over Martin. So get him on the field all over while you can because he probably will be starting CB in year 2.
