VT is the favorite, I'd be surprised if he went anywhere else

Three-star senior defensive end JaQuan Bailey of Raines High School in Jacksonville, Fla., received a scholarship offer from Tennessee on Wednesday, just hours after he decommitted from Florida, and he didn't waste any time setting up a visit with the Vols.

Bailey said Wednesday night that he's already scheduled to take an official visit to Tennessee the weekend of Jan. 15, and he admitted the Vols are one of two teams standing out to him, along with Virginia Tech.

He said he's scheduled to visit the Hokies the weekend of Jan. 22, and he also plans to visit North Carolina.

The 6-foot-3, 236-pound Bailey had been committed to Florida for more than nine months before reopening his recruitment Wednesday morning. He's ranked the nation's No. 58 weakside defensive end in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball points to Virginia Tech as the favorite to land Bailey, with the Hokies getting 75 percent of his current predictions.

Per Hubbs

Former Florida commitment JaQuan Bailey quickly comes to mind. Tennessee quickly began to pursue him after he and the Gators mutually parted ways Wednesday morning. He will visit on Jan. 15 and Virginia Tech has a scheduled visit for the following weekend.

As for the Jan. 15 weekend, not only do we expect Jacksonville defensive end Ja'Quon Bailey in for an official visit, we're now hearing his brother, defensive tackle Joshua Bailey, could come in as well. We don't believe Joshua has an offer at this point, but we do believe he's likely to make the visit.
