A new offer went out on Wednesday to Deerfield Beach, Fla., defensive back James Pierre. The versatile defender that has played both safety and nickel is currently committed to North Carolina but before that was committed to Miami.

Pierre told Volquest earlier this week that he has, "Big interest in Tennessee," after visiting Rocky Top this summer. It's worth remembering that he's teammates with four-star receiver Cavin Ridley, who is planning on officially visiting Tennessee at some point. So, it's not a stretch to see the two talented athletes visit Knoxville at some point.
