I feel the same way. I think he's playing for the hometown crowd right now. The fact we're recruiting him at wide receiver makes the difference.

Remember him tweeting about us coming to play when we went up on Bama on the 4th quarter? I think he signs on NSD.

You guys are setting yourself up for disappointment I'm afraid. If Pruitt leaves, maybe we have an outside shot, if it's total staff change in UGA (which I doubt) we have a little better shot but right now it's all UGA.

Depends on how the season ends. I didn't think Fulmer was gone and then we lost to Wyoming, and then I pretty much knew it was a done deal. If Richt doesn't find a way to get a couple more W's I would say he may be in jeopardy of "resigning."

Not saying it's the best move for UGA, and I hope they keep him. I fear what an actual football coach could do with all the talent in that state, and also would make it harder to pull these kids out that have helped us throughout the years.

Even if Pruitt leaves he will still most likely end up at UGA. They will most definitely make a strong hire to try and save Richt and you will see Mecole come out and say they hired a great coach blah blah.

i could see Smart taking a HC job. Pruitt leaving for his childhood dream school and going back to Bama and Mecole going there instead. Purely guessing

Let's be honest Titans have not done that bad on the first round picks. Griffin, Womack, lewan, pac man was good just bad off field. VY won the rookie of the year! They suck because they miss huge 2 thru 7. Like bad bad. Free agent pick ups as well. Joke status.

Unlike you I don't let the decisions of 18 year old kids affect me. If Mecole signs with us, you won't see me dancing in the streets and if he doesn't, you won't see me cry.

Maybe you shouldn't take this stuff so seriously if it effects the rest of your life.

If UGA wins out they're 10-3.... If they lost to tech they'd be 8-4 heading into bowl season. Do either of those get Richt fired?

I don't think scenario 1 does.... And probably not #2. I don't see how Mecole doesn't go to UGA

Good points. Ill offer his caveat though:

If we and they (I have no idea if that's grammatically correct) win out they are third in the SEC East with no signs that Florida and Tennessee are looking to regress.

UF and UT are only going to get better and UGA literally can't get much better from a talent standpoint with a coach that can't win the big game.

Now to be candid I still keep Richt if I'm the AD looking at 8-4. They probably want Eason more than they want Richt, lol,

I'd be stunned if Richt was fired, honestly.

I think our best hope with Hardman is that the infighting rumors were real and Richt has to gut his staff this offseason. Depending on the timing of that, it could give us a legit shot at signing Hardman. Unfortunately, I think it's more likely that some people had short tempers after a few tough weeks. My guess is that it was overblown by the media, there are minimal changes to Richt's staff, and Hardman goes to UGA.

I'll say this, though: while that may be a bad thing for us in terms of landing Hardman, I think it's a good thing for us in terms of beating UGA for the next few years. Schotty and Pruitt don't scare me at all as coordinators.

I suggest you go with the following...."If none of the teams we are talking about, with the exception of UT and Georgia, win out..."
