Take with grain of salt but Barton Simmons said he is hearing from sources we didn't make up much ground here and doesn't think TN wins this one. He did say that he thinks Warrior is ours, Byrd has great weekend and he is 51% TN over field for Kongbo. Kongbo hesitance seemed to be because you can't read the kid but he still prefers TN spot over anyone else.

I'm not sure who his sources are for this that he talked to as he normally doesn't focus on these areas which makes me think he could be getting stuff from Shoop or close to Shoop. He knows Shoop very well from Vandy days.

no reason to go catbone based on what Barton says. He is wrong a lot. I only pay close attention to what he says about Midstate prospects. there are more people saying he had a great visit than saying he didn't.

We will be fine if not. We got Alexis Johnson top Juco DT. you can always move a DE inside as a smaller quicker DT like Vickers did or just recruit several studs in 2017.

No clue why he would have said that about Hurd as Hurd would have never went to Vandy. I will say Barnett was very close call. That was not an easy win for TN as you would think. He really liked that staff but didn't think they would be there long term

I always took the approach that realistically we pull 2 of the 5 but with a really good knock it out the park chance at 4. Never good to assume 4 is a lock as its asking to be let down. 2 out of that 5 is still outstanding IMO

It's Crazy time. There will tons of random rumors between now and then from all teams involved. Most being false. Barton didn't say he had a bad visit. He just didn't think enough ground was made up. FWIW 247 top insider says Brown HS a great visit and TN very much in it
