Brown recruitment will be one all the sites will love to tease for clicks leading up to NSD especially if he goes underground like he says he will. Prime target for these sites to start using for click bait.

I've seen in two different threads now that Hardman and Brown are a package deal to Georgia. Where is that coming from? Made up?

esp the ones at the top like Barton.

Barton is only 70% right on 247 and that's a system where you can change your mind as many times as you want too..... Farrell stated he thought it would be auburn but said it was just an educated guess but he had no sources.

And who is JAV?

An actual legit inside with tons of connections throughout college and NFL. Says things before there even on the radar that end up happening. He isn't one of those guys that waits until everyone and their mother already knows something then steps in with a VN insider move. Nobody will always be right eventually but from everything my buddy has sent me this guy has predicted has come true. He talks more about team stuff and game plans more than recruiting but will share recruiting items if he has contacts at the kids school or what the diff staffs feel. He is so legit the 247 mods recognize him that way

If he chooses Auburn, it would be because he accepted money to get his signature on NSD. Now he regrets it after he took his OV to Tennessee when he tweeted saying "he made a huge mistake". Now he's having second thoughts about it. Right now, why in the hell would a recruit choose Auburn over Tennessee? We're on the verge of having a championship team this year with plenty of playing time opportunities for freshman DT's where we rotate them. Malzahn is on the hot seat this year and they've took a big step back from their winning ways. Auburn over Tennessee just doesn't make sense.

So, him saying we are neck and neck with AU, is that an improvement from before Brown's OV?

Don't be so quick to say a kid took money to go to a certain school. Some kids may actually like Auburn. If he did take money from Auburn, would you really want that type of kid at TN?

Apparently JAV on 247 now says we are neck&neck with Auburn. It just so happens to come from him around the same time these updates come out.

Hopefully this doesn't read as a shot at him. Was implying he had been more optimistic on Brown beforehand.

Apparently plenty of sources said before the visit that au was leading now what little info we do get is saying we are neck and neck. Frankly i think if he stays quiet noone k ows anything and will be all speculation

An example that blew my mind, buddy that subscribes there said he told everybody wks before TN played Vandy that Debord had found weakness in defense that he was going to exploit in a big way. I took a see it to believe it approach because it was after the N Texas meh performance. Then we destroyed Vandy defense. Also mentioned the under center package would be unveiled in bowl game

That we didn't make up any ground this weekend. Auburn.

RTTT is lapping it up.

He has no clue. Too early in the game for Brown to have even commented on his trip. Besides that goes against him shutting out media. They are all guessing at this point. And ftr, Barton can't stand Tennessee.

People said same thing about us when Butch had his first real recruiting class with Hurd, etc. McDowell was marked as a player Smart wanted at Bama to fill their box S role once Collins left. We landed solid talent over teams like Bama. Just how it goes in recruiting, especially when you can promise early playing time like Butch could his first years here. However, AU is in trouble. Their DC is a joke, and he'll end up getting Gus fired. So, if I'm a defensive recruit, AU isn't where I'd want to be. There's a huge likely you are going to have a new DC within a year if you are an AU recruit.

Same from what I understand. Both staffs felt good before and after. He never really made a prediction that at least I got sent. He felt good about chances of overcoming AU lead coming in based on what he had heard from Browns HS area. He hasn't changed his stance.

I just think nobody is going to know what Brown does until he signs. Kid and his family are good about not giving people direct answers. I think anyone that has ran into Garner before doesn't trust what he is capable of in final 3 days

The biggest reason why it seems compensation is invloved here is why would a recruit say he made a horrible mistake when he could just change his mind if nothing more was involved? It seems there is something deeper and as stated before by many people, we do not want guys who make deals with the devil playing at Tennessee. Many have listed why Auburn over Tennessee right now makes zero sense so what am I missing?

...has anyone here considered that he just did something dumb with alcohol/drugs/girls on his recruiting visit? Because when I read that tweet that is immediately what I think of. I think it's quite a leap to jump to "Auburn is paying him and now he's in a massive moral dilemma"

"I went into the weekend feeling that Auburn was the team to beat. I thought Tennessee was going to have a major opportunity to change that.

I don't have any new information to make me change that at this point.

In talking to several people, I think Brown had a good time. But, I don't have anyone telling me that a decision has been made or anything like that."

It could've been that he ordered pizza instead of hot wings and regretted his decision. Not everything these kids talk about is recruiting related

The tweet might not have been about recruiting it could have been about late night Mexican food.

Info at this point can be to throw people off or legit. We will know Tuesday or Wednesday by I can't assume either way just yet. Congrats to the young man wherever he chooses and if he chooses Auburn it doesn't mean he auto took money. My goodness.
