Butch is a hell of a recruiter. Don't get me wrong, but when we're going against Auburn for a highly rated recruit, I'll never feel good about our chances.

When I first read the tweet, the first thought that popped in my head was that he took Auburn's money but liked his Tennessee visit to the point that he may not actually want to sign with Auburn. Honestly, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that because I kind of felt like a jaded ass...which I am...but it still felt bad.

Auburn openly touts the bag man philosophy. They're as dirty a program as you'll find. It happens every year. At the very end they swoop in and get whatever they want. For no apparent reason.

If you every had any doubts about the lengths that they would go to get who they want, they should have been erased with the Cam Newton and Bobby Petrino sagas.

In the past, at least one recruit took their money and signed with South Carolina. He went on and won the Hiseman. So, it has been done and can be done again.
