Gut feeling. But I've got a pretty good track record.

I hate to be that guy, but you actually lost a ban bet to me last year until Freak stepped in and stopped it. The only reason you're agreeing to it now is because you know the mods aren't going to allow it.

I'm not sure how we'll fare recruiting against Georgia this year when its all said and done, but I do know that we're gonna whoop that ass for them come game time.

is Georgia already looking for their next coach since everyone knows Kirby will only last a few years? Honest question
Seems more like a bad attempt at a flame rather than an honest question. How long did Mark Richt last while he was asleep at the wheel?

Dude Georgia may get Brown; but, they arent getting both.
If you're referring to MH and DB, this seems to be backwards. Of the two, MH is the mostly likely to land at UGA for several reasons. If there is any coach that "will only last a few years", it's Jeremy Pruitt at Alabama. He'll jump for a head coach postition sooner than later. Saban sure as hell can't use MH as a defensive back.

As far as DB, the Mark Richt firing has him exploring his options but I'd guess most UGA fans expect him to be in Athens too. If not UGA, it would be Auburn. Anything can happen on visits though. No clue on Warrior.

Thanks for clearing everything up for us.

Did you tell DB that if he doesn't want to go to UGA, then he can only go to Auburn?

I posted a few weeks ago that we get Brown.

Anyone without orange shades knows we do not get MH.

Warrior is Vols at this point and CBS assured him and Tucker leaving Bama and Pruitt going there took them out of the equation. Saban has kept the door open a little bit but believe that has been closed.

My feeling..we get Warrior..Bammer gets Mecole..no clue about Brown. Wouldn't surprise me where he ends up.

Brown doesn't want to be complacent, and he knows going to Georgia will hinder his growth as a football player.

The whole staff just got canned and Kirby Smart is a first-year head coach. Sounds like a disaster to me.

Talent in the Peach State goes to die when they attend UGA. Their roster has been loaded the past 10 years, and have nothing to show for it.

UGA football = definition of complacency. Always will be.

I don't like particularly like Auburn, but they always have the threat of a national championship contender.

Georgia, not so much.

Brown knows this, and I believe that's why Woody Wommack predicted him to Tennessee, the most likely school to win a national championship and get him to the next level.

UGA fans are the most delusional out of the loop fans that I've ever met. Like I told the other phony, 0-3 for UGA on the players being discussed in this thread.

Due to what our insiders are saying about Brown and Warrior, I strongly believe we get both. I highly doubt we get Hardman unless he has an absolute change of heart. Butch has already moved on from his games. No one player is bigger than our program. He can be misused at Bama and then feel betrayed when Pruitt moves on to a HC job whenever that happens. Anyway, can't wait to close very strong on NSD with Brown and Warrior

I actually live near Lanier High School and there are a few kids in the neighborhood that are friends with DB. UGA is going to have to hit a homerun on his visit to get back into it. Kirby evidently didn't see him as a good fit for his defense at Alabama and didn't recruit him that hard. After getting the UGA job, Kirby contacted a lot of other guys before finally calling DB. He doesn't feel that wanted by Smart but is keeping them in the mix because he likes Rocker. He likes Garner at Auburn but isn't sold on Steele at DC or Gus' job security. He likes all the coaches at UT (not sure how his visit went with Shoop) and his mom's favorite is UT. That's why she scheduled the visit to UT for that last weekend. UT has the most factors playing in their favor right now, but the visits will play a big part. I think the order right now would be UT, AU, MSU, and then UGA.

I'll take it!!

It also has a lot to do with his parents seem to like Tennessee the best now that Mark Richt is at Miami. His mom scheduled his OVs and Tennessee has the last one on the 29th. Auburn is a concern based on their past history of pulling recruits in at the last second, often times with less than scrupulous means. That being said, with all of the information provided, it's hard not to like where Tennessee stands here. All UGA fans have is 'Derp...He's from Georgia....derp"

That's not a ban bet though. Mods can't force someone to post against their will if they said they will never post again.

We aren't getting all 3, so see ya Nationdom.

I completely agree. I wonder if after our visit we see a flurry of CBs to Tennessee from reliable insiders. That's when you know it's done.

What gives you the idea we get mecole, multiple people and insiders said he's bama

He said he will post never again not he will never post again. We don't get all three and he comes on and posts NEVER AGAIN and then we still have to hear about stars.

I don't care about the bet I just wondering what makes him think we get mecole, from what I've heard CBJ moved on from him, not playing games

Couple thoughts on Brown...

* I like that scheduled January 29 OV most of all. If Brown, Warrior, & Dickerson make the trip, I like our chances with all three.
* I like Wommack's prediction from the all-star game. Granted it's the only semi-official prediction for Brown, but it is also the most recent.
* The VQ guys have said we're in it, so we're in it.
* If it's between us and Auburn, Shoop could be the difference maker. It's public knowledge he didn't even pick up the phone for Auburn but payed his own buy out to come to UT. That's a strong statement of putting your money where your mouth is.
* His mom's Twitter quotes telling him to remember what the coach said about him being his own President and CEO just sounds so Butch.
* I love to read the program insider info on here. But the reality is that if that info comes from boosters - and that seems the likely source of the insider info our latest Dawg troll is bringing - it is almost universally positive for the home team as long as there is even a chance. I think this has been especially applicable to Brown's situation as UT, UGA, & Auburn sources have all been pretty confident about their chances throughout his recruitment.
* There's a lot of smoke around the idea that his legacy connections to Miss State (his parents) actually seem to be favoring the Vols.
* I would feel less optimistic about Brown because of all the recent interest we've shown toward other DL, but VQ has made it clear that Jones hopes to sign 2 more DL in this class.
