Interesting 2016 visitor heading to campus this weekend

Received a note from the father of Farmington, Mich., 2016 LB David Reese this week that they will be heading down to Tennessee for a visit this weekend. I had a chance to see Reese a few weeks ago at a camp and he is 6-1, 235 pounds and jacked up. There was some thought he may end up on the DL because he was so big and he squats like 600-700 pounds, but watching him in a camp setting he is quick enough and athletic enough that I see him being a run-stuffing MIKE LB at the next level. Definitely one to watch going forward as he should end up with plenty of D1 offers.

MIDLAND, Mich. - Over 200 prospects from the state of Michigan descended upon Northwood University for the inaugural Camp Pride. Underclassmen made the most noise, but a rising senior takes top honors in our break down of the top performers.

2. DAVID REESE, LB, FARMINGTON, MICH. (2016)
Although he is just a sophomore, Reese is a prospect we have been hearing about for close to a year. His lifting feats for a young player are well documented. At 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds already, with an obvious penchant for the weight room, expectations were that Reese would play stiff, but he surprised us with his agility. He ran at both defensive end and linebacker during the day, combining his strength with lateral quickness on the line, while playing physical at the linebacker position.
