Why is everyone so high on the Eason kid?

Huge soph season followed by an even better jr season. He's the real deal.

Think he threw for close to 3000 yds, 30+ TDs, 3 INTs w/ a 70% completion rate. He is the most polished passer Ive seen in the class, followed by Shea Patterson & Dwayne Haskins.

I'll take the kid with an arm that's 85-90% as good and also runs a 4.5 40.

lol right :p

volinga seemed genuinely curious so I gave him an answer. In all liklihood Eason will be a great QB. Don't think he's on Rosen's level by an means, but he's damn good - and so is Patterson.

That's actually a 4.4/40. He posted recently that he clocked that twice, at one of the camps. No small thing because the difference between 4.4 and 4.5 means most DB's won't catch him once he's at the 2nd level....GIVE. HIM. 6. TOUCHDOWN - TENNESSEE!!! (John Ward style)

I always round up to 4.5 because true 4.4s are incredibly rare for high school kids...but if he actually runs that fast at that height, he's a Heisman-caliber QB for sure.

Whenever Dobbs leaves, the QB Battle between Sheriron Jones, Quentin Dormady, Jarret Guarantano, and Hunter Johnson will be a thing to behold, and a beautiful problem to have

It'll be between Jarrett and Hunter. I don't see Dormady and Sheriron really being in the discussion. They seem more like backups to me. Jarrett and Hunter look to be on another level.

😳😳😳😳😳😳😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Eason is built like an NFL QB and can make all the throws. He's gonna be a good one. But he's a UGA commit so he's gonna probably get fat, grow some shaggy bangs, and smell like moth balls.

I can definitely see why we would recruit Dormady and Jones as back up plans for a QB that was never committed to us when they were being recruited. That makes perfect sense.

That's still a Touchdown, when you can drop it an inch from the bucket. BTW, isn't Eason from Washington? I hope the Huskies flip him and leave the Bulldogs without a star QB.

The AJC did an article on how he ended up at UGA, and one of the reasons was that Mark Richt was a Christian. I was like what? Is he the only Christian coach in America?
