Prob just some local HS kids. I don't think they let the top WRs and DBs play in Elite 11. That happens at the Opening.bthe Elite 11 drill is more to get an idea of reads and progressions.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what a 'bad decision ' meant in this context. Can't imagine the defences are very sophisticated.

SIAP, a little tidbit from yesterday:

Best tools

"Three guys jumped out at us as guys that really throw a pretty football but have upside beyond just being a passer. Feleipe Franks remains a strong candidate to become the best NFL prospect out of this group because of his size/speed/arm combination. Jarrett Guarantano has jumped out at us as a wiry athletic kid that has consistently looked like he's in total control in this setting. Finally Brandon Peters was one of the guys that multiple analysts were buzzing about and his upside is crazy considering he's had limited quarterback training and he has elite athleticism that shows up on the basketball court."

With Simmons Tennessee bias considered? That's a ringing endorsement. :rock2:

This is all part of the Opening, they use them for the 7on7, I wonder why they don't for this? Unless it's because they are getting instruction on route running, etc. But it looks like you would want the best wr's and Db's working with the best QB's in the country... You could get a better feel for who the best of the best really was

Opening starts Thursday. Players are just getting in today. The first few days of the week are just for Elite 11 purposes. The QBs will get the chance to go against the best when Opening starts.

USC has apparently been in a lot of contact. Don't be surprised if closer to home and in California doesn't sway the kid. I'm not saying its gonna happen but anyone west of the Rocky Mountains with any high potential then USC is all over them.

Eason could go to Washington and be an all time great, or he can go to Georgia and suck. Hard to believe
he's passing up a chance to play for Chris Petersen.

I've noticed that everyone at the Elite 11 seems to have differing opinions on who is doing the best, but JG is in the top 5, if not top 3, of just about every list I've seen so far.

Just think...these two are going to be going through drills together at Tennessee in 6 months. And Dormady, Jennings (maybe), and Jones in the mix as well.

It's why this event is so important. All the best QBs on an even playing field - for the most part. This year isn't as strong as last year, that's for sure and already we're seeing how close the field really is in terms of talent. The other guys are showing out, while the 5 star guys are struggling to make an impact. Could be some big movers and shakers in the next update.

Do you think that's influenced by the preconceived notions of who was better going in? I don't think there is any way that some of those people would admit that Guarantano is better than Eason or Patterson after all of their hype.

As long as Eason is still number 1 UGA fans will be happy.
