In theory, Dobbs could have a successful NFL career till age 35, or whatever, and then pursue his 2nd career. I'm sure he would get some additional education to catch up, but 35 has a lot of years left to see

SIAP, but this is from USA Today's Paul Myerberg & Elite 11 Coach Trent Dilfer-

How good is Guarantano? "He's almost too talented," Dilfer said. Essentially, Guarantano can make every throw in the book — and do so with unmatched speed and power – but needs to spend more time working on his touch. "Layering," basically, meaning the ability to put balls over the tops of defenders rather than relying on pure arm strength to defeat coverage. It's not a huge issue to have at this stage in his development. "He's got everything you could ever want," said Dilfer. I would bet on Guarantano eventually being named MVP of this event. Tennessee is getting a superb prospect.

#Vols QB commit Jarrett Guarantano with powerball throws of 39 and 40 at #TheOpening. VERY good numbers for a QB.

If the NFL doesn't pan out, Dobbs should consider OTS for the Air Force.

He would rise through the ranks quickly.

Elite athleticism.
Elite intelligence.

He could be an astronaut. Seriously.

He'll do both imo.
He's an incredible young man.

Anyone know what 39 and 40 actually means in distance? Also how much does the ball weigh?

He liked Dobbs more. He was big on telling Butch to go get him. He has always felt Dobbs is your championship QB. He did like like Riley's talent though.

On the reality show? Yeah. On Ainge that next summer he played up Ferguson more... First time I heard the "he has that 'It' factor" angle played in that particular argument.

Guarantano said following the second full day of competition at the Elite 11 finals that Ohio State running back commitment Kareem Walker of Wayne, N.J., top-100 athlete Ahmir Mitchell of Egg Harbor City, N.J., and four-star athlete Jordan Fuller of Old Tappan, N.J., “definitely” will accompany him on his upcoming trip to Tennessee.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Guarantano said five-star defensive tackle Rashan Gary of Paramus, N.J. — the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class — also could join him in visiting the Vols later this month.

“We’re planning to go back on the 25th — the ‘Orange Carpet Day,’” said Guarantano, who's ranked the nation's No. 105 overall prospect and No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite.

“I know definitely Kareem, Ahmir and Jordan (are going), and we’re trying to see what Rashan’s doing with his team — if he has team workouts and stuff.”

Guarantano said he has been trying to convince the other top prospects in New Jersey to follow him to Tennessee over the past few months. He said he’s particularly close with Fuller and Walker, who's ranked the nation’s No. 1 running back in the 247Sports Composite.

“I’m most tight with Kareem and Jordan,” Guarantano said. “Jordan is a guy that, he lives in my county, so we’re really close. He probably lives about 10 minutes away, so we’re pretty close with that. And Kareem has really been a guy that I’ve known since eighth grade, so we have, also, a close relationship.”

While Guarantano said it’s “not my place to say” how firm Walker’s commitment to Ohio State is, he added that he believes Walker is “looking around for his options.” And he said he’s optimistic that Walker and the other Garden State natives might end up taking a hard look at the Vols.

“I hope so,” Guarantano said. “I think, as soon as they really get to Tennessee and visit, I think that their mind will really change about all the other schools. We’ll see.”
