Seriously though we're not going to take two additional SDEs just because we lost 1 "elite" SDE. That's not how it works. Especially not when numbers are tight like they are this year.

If anything we will see a WDE and a SDE. And I'm almost certain the plan was to take a WDE regardless of if we lost Kongbo.

It appears we had a few DEs visiting over the next few weeks. That would be how I came up with the reasoning of possibly taking two. Now if Butch felt Kongbo was always going to go elsewhere, that would help explain the DE visits coming up. I could see where he may want two more before NSD. Also have to consider Butch knows where the Kyle Phillips thing stands. Would be another reason to be looking for two if he plans to consider options. Wait, I may have just done gone logic.

Wow. Offer list unimpressive. I say we save the spot for an elite player in the '17 cycle.

The plan was to take another WDE even before the Kongbo news broke, it had nothing to do with Kongbo decomitting.

Point is you dont take 2 SDEs to replace 1 when things are so tight number wise, unless 1 of the SDEs is a tweener who could develop into a DT. But yeah sound logic bro.

I did say two DEs. Wouldn't that qualify for SDE or WDE? With the DEs visiting so far over the next few weeks being Lucas and Bailey(both in the 230lb range) I figured at least one WDE was a possibility.
