This kid has talent to spare . It's such a relief to be able to watch Butch and Co. get us in on all these elite kids now instead of having to try and piece together a team to compete in the SEC .
Its nice to see praise for butch but I a swear it seems like this has been copied and pasted into every thread.

I actually didn't copy and paste . It's probably from lurking on VN too many years watching and praying I can enjoy a season without wanting to kick my smug Alabubba coworkers in the teeth . This does ( for the first time , in many years ) feel like we are moving forward .

Five posts in four years? You need to step it up man. :)

Would love to wrap this one up soon, but I'd say he waits till at least spring 2015

I say you are spot on with the spring commitment. I think that his mind is all but made up. Good connections between the coaching staff and his inter circle also Hunter is very comfortable with the coaching staff as well

The top programs have recently made a habit of wrapping up their QB's 1 1/2 years in advance. We have lacked the stability, and the appeal to do that, but the time is upon us

Just a reminder, Johnson has an older cousin that played for Coach Jones and most of this staff when they were at Cincinnati and there is already trust between Johnson's family and the Vols coaches.

Long way to go here, but Tennessee is building a great foundation here. Johnson loved everything when he came down for camp, and was obviously very excited when Tennessee offered a couple days after that. Steve Wiltfong posted this in the comments on the 247 article on Hunter.

He goes to the same HS my fiancé went to and her fam still lives in Brownsburg. I will try to make it to one of his games

Would be great of the coaches could lock this kid in early(over the next 6 months or so). Having our 2016 and 2017 QBs locked in before the end of the 2014 season would be a very welcome thing IMO. Huge benefit to building championship classes going forward.

Even in our glory days (I'm 29 my perspective is mid 90s on) I don't remember locking up three high quality quarterbacks in for three successive years.

Hunter plays at Franklin Sept 5th 7pm.
At Fishers Sept 19th 7pm

I'll probably go to both games dressed head to toe in Vols gear. I'm getting him to commit this season lol

Don't go all Sab on us now. Just kidding.
