He's had an offer for a while but doesn't look like he's ever visited us. Been to Miss St a couple times, AU, Bama, LSU, UF, FSU, AR, and Miami. We might be in it, but would like to see him visit.

We're definitely in it. I mean he released his top 5 with us in it. I can't believe nobody had created an individual recruit thread for him. He's a 4* recruit + he's had interest in us for a while it appears.

LSU has offered and they usually keep guys like this at home. Would be great if we could get him to visit.

He didn't put LSU in his top 5 but they just offered a couple weeks ago. Does make a person wonder if him delaying his decision is tied to that but maybe not as he didn't include them. I agree though, I wouldn't even consider us in it till he visits. Recruitments like Cotman and committing
before visiting are rare.

Also I believe it was VQ hinting that we may be done as far as DBs for 2017 go.

I'd say you're right unless it comes down to being able to gain/get a 5* DB.

LSU is losing Tyron Johnson, the #1 player in the state a couple of years ago. Not every coach can keep the best players in their state every time.

???
They didnt lose him. They got him.
But after not being able to crack the starting lineup, he is transferring.

Not the same...

Looks like their DB class is a five star and 3 four stars thus far.

Kary Vincent, and Kirklin at CB. Robertson has tore up at the camps and was injured his junior year and is trying to get an offer, he is also a little on the small side. S commits are Delpit and Stevens. From what I can gather, LSU would like one more CB and S. I don't think will get both Harris and Stewart, and might miss on both.

I'm hearing possible Harris to Bama, but see how it pans out. Stewart only recently got an offer I believe.

I'll tell ya what I like about say your 2016 class. 25 commitments and 18 being instate. Good stuff.

Thanks for clearing that up for BOT. He got a little ahead of himself there. I don't know how anyone could even attempt to say that LSU does not do a great job of keeping players in state. They really do apply the pressure to make sure they stay home.

Butch is doing a little better with it. I saw where we've offered 12 instate kids out of 46 total offers thus far for 2019. We'll just have to see how many he actually takes though.

I think things change bigtime starting in 2018 & 2019. With the talent we have coming he better be getting these in-state kids or there will be you know what to pay over it. He has to get most of these top in-state kids to commit coming up in the 2018 & 2019 classes.

Gotcha. Looks like a few teams were in on him before LSU even offered.

Yea. I am not sure as to why he wasn't more of a priority, Stewart might be the best CB in the State, but the State is very week this year. idk I can say LSU got who they wanted, Kary Vincent from Texas.

I would say getting one more CB in this class could be optional, which might explain a few things. LSU main concern is LB right now, which always seems to be the case. If LSU doesn't start signing LBs, they'll have to soon go to the new scheme the 5-1-5 lol
