Tennessee seemed to make a strong impression on Smith as well, as he plans to get to know Mark Elder, his area recruiter, even more now.
"When they offered it really came out of nowhere but after visiting here we're really going to build a relationship. Every time he calls this is going to make me want to pick up every time," Smith said.
"My coach is a Tennessee fan and he had been telling me a lot about it and he told me it was nice and he was telling me the truth," Smith said. In particular, Smith said the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center along with the Anderson Training Center. "I liked the facilities and everything," Smith said. "I liked the restaurant in the the facility and the meeting rooms."
"I love that they call it Wide Receiver U and I know about all the wide receivers they've put in the first round," Smith said. Smith next has camps scheduled at N.C. State and Clemson and wants to visit Tennessee again for the Oklahoma game.
