I was in Neyland yesterday, and when they started turning it around against Florida, it's just a feeling like no other, Smith told Tennessee Prep Weekly in an interview that will air in its entirety later this week.
Imagine about 100,000 people and a couple thousand outside the stadium just screaming at the top of their lungs. You can hardly hear. Your ears are ringing, and it feels like theres an electric current in the stadium. Its indescribable.
My dad and I have evaluated a couple schools, Smith told the radio show. We actually had a sheet, and we marked on a system of 10 the coaching staff whats our relationship with them? the success in that program, the overall feel of the program. We didnt really do the game-day atmosphere, the emotional things. But we sort of just sat down and evaluated each and every program in my top six, and the programs that stood out, were just going to take official visits to them.
For instance, next week were going to Ole Miss for an official visit (for its game against) Memphis. We just sort of evaluate each school. We really look in-depth for what each program has to offer. So from there were going to take officials, and from there Im ultimately making my decision.
Sounds like a bright kid. He'll succeed wherever he goes, and you have to love our chances.
